Techsystems Ltd is a software engineering company based in Lahore, Pakistan. We build custom software, web platforms, mobile applications and cloud systems for businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through techsystemsltd.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The only place on this website where you actively provide information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name and email address, which are required so that we can reply.
• Your phone number, if you choose to provide it.
• A budget range, if you choose to select one.
• The project details you write in the message field.

When you open the home page, your browser requests an approximate location from ipwho.is, a third-party geolocation service, so that the globe can show where you are viewing from. Your IP address is sent to that service in order to return a city and country. We do not store the result, and it is discarded when you leave the page.

This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Making that request tells Google your IP address and basic browser information. If you would prefer this not to happen, the fonts can be served from our own domain instead.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages and browser user-agent strings. These are used for security and diagnosing faults.

We use the information described above only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and discuss the project you contacted us about.
• Prepare proposals, estimates and contracts where you have asked us to.
• Keep records of our business correspondence.
• Keep the website secure, available and working correctly.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so and will choose a provider that does not build cross-site profiles of visitors.

We share personal information only where it is necessary to operate the site or to do the work you have asked us to do. That can include our hosting provider, our email provider, and the geolocation service named above. Each of these processes information on our behalf or as an independent controller of the request your browser makes to them.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

We are based in Pakistan, and some of the services we rely on operate servers outside your country. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in Pakistan and in the countries where those providers operate.

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us, and are then deleted. Records relating to projects we have delivered are kept for as long as we need them for contractual, tax and accounting purposes.

Wherever you are, you can ask us to do the following, and we will respond within thirty days:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Provide a copy of the information you gave us.
• Stop using your information for a particular purpose.

This website is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people at Techsystems who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, card numbers or other credentials through the contact form.

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date shown above. Where the change is significant, we will say so clearly rather than relying on you to notice.
